The Office of Immersive Learning is recruiting undergraduate students from all academic disciplines for current and upcoming immersive projects. Earn course credit and gain professional experience by joining a semester-long project with a diverse team of students from across campus.
Step 1: Find a Project
Browse our current and upcoming projects to identify ones of interest to you.
Browse Projects
- Asking your home department and faculty about current offerings.
- Talking to your academic advisor.
- Attending one of our Faculty Pitch Nights held each semester. Dates for these upcoming events can be found on our website.
- Searching for Immersive Learning courses when you register for classes in the Banner registration system.
Need help finding a project?
We can help match you with a project based on your degree path, interests, and skills. To get started, complete the online form.
Step 2: Contact the Project Leader
One or more Ball State faculty members lead each immersive learning project. The names of these project leaders are included in the upcoming project descriptions on our opportunities page. They can answer your questions and help you determine if a class is the right fit for you.
Step 3: Apply
Once you have identified a project and determined that it aligns with your interests, you can apply by contacting the instructor or using our online application. Once approved, the instructor will provide details on how you can to register for the appropriate course(s).
