Ball State University has been awarded funding through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund II (HEERF II) from the U.S. Department of Education in the amount of $22 million. Of that, at least $7.6 million must be used to provide direct emergency assistance for students who are enrolled in classes at Ball State.

Students will be notified of their HEERF II award amount via their University email. Awards will range from $500-$1000 and be based on financial need. Students who do not receive notification of an award may apply online to be considered for funds. Our goal is to assist as many students as possible, in accordance with federal guidelines.
