Ball State University's attractive 750-acre campus is a lively place with a wealth of recreational, cultural, and educational activities and facilities. Guests are invited to exercise, attend a concert or play, visit the Museum of Art or Christy Woods, or watch a sporting event during their stay. See what's on the university calendar.

Recreation Facilities
Ball State's recreational facilities are available on a scheduled basis for conference groups. Participants may purchase recreation cards so they can use the fitness rooms, swimming pools, tennis and racquetball courts, gymnasiums, and jogging tracks. These facilities also may be rented for private parties.

In addition, Cardinal Lanes in the L. A. Pittenger Student Center offers bowling, cosmic bowling, and billiards.

Please contact the Conferences and Special Events Office early in the planning process to discuss specific recreation requests.

Community Attractions
Off campus, the Muncie community has educational museums, hiking/biking trails, nice golf courses, theaters and spectator sports, and a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Learn about local attractions.
