What can brownfields do for your community? While dealing with a brownfield site can be difficult, they can have tremendous and transformative potential. Communities, nonprofits, and developers looking to reimagine, remediate, and reuse brownfields sites must carefully consider many factors. The Indiana Communities Institute, Technical Assistance to Brownfields Communities (TAB), Indiana Brownfields Program, and EPA Region 5 have partnered to present two days of informative brownfields workshops to provide valuable insights and expertise on financing and legal considerations, among the most important and challenging factors.

Workshop Dates

  • August 22: Brownfields Financing Workshop
  • August 23: Brownfields Legal Considerations Workshop

About the Workshops

Both workshops, held back-to-back days, are at the Tube Factory artspace, a former brownfields site near downtown Indianapolis (1125 Cruft Street; parking in rear). The cost is $25 per workshop. Questions should be directed to Brian Blackford, Indiana Communities Institute.
