On-campus recruiting is a convenient way to fill your organization’s hiring needs. Through a partnership with the National Association of Colleges and Employers and Symplicity, Ball State offers you a system called Cardinal Career Link. Using this system, you have the ability to manage your job postings and campus interviews.

Once you have created an account in Cardinal Career Link, you can post your job descriptions and sign up for on-campus recruiting opportunities. To have the best possible experience recruiting Ball State University candidates, you should set your interview date four to six weeks in advance. This will allow time for the Career Center to market your job opportunities effectively and reserve your private recruiting space. Common on-campus recruiting activities include (but are not limited to) the following.

  • Information table
    • Request to reserve a table in one of Ball State's busiest student areas. Tables are commonly placed in a dining area, but they can be displayed throughout campus to target a specific audience. You will engage with students, talk about your company and open positions, and hand out goodies (if you choose).
  • Information session
    • Reserve a classroom on campus to speak with students about your company, open positions, or line of work. Classrooms can be located throughout campus, and we will help promote your session to students you are looking to meet.
  • On-campus interviews
    • Interview rooms are located in Lucina Hall and are open for employers to reserve. Each room is wi-fi enabled and offers a private room on campus for an interview to be conducted.
