The College of Health offers several ways to be involved at school or departmental levels. An organized alumni group for the School of Nursing is just one of the ways you can give of your time and talent, connect with alumni, and impact the current students and curriculum.
College of Health Alumni Recognition
The Nursing Alumni Society is pleased to award the following awards to recognize outstanding service and professionalism. Anyone may nominate alumni for these awards. To qualify for the April awards presentations, nominations should be received no later than January 15 each year. Nominations will remain active up to three years from the time of nomination. A committee from the Nursing Alumni Society Board will make the selections.
Outstanding Nursing Alumni Award
Ball State University Nursing alumni who have made significant and exceptional contributions to the nursing profession through education, service, or community involvement are eligible. They should be active members of the Ball State University Alumni Association by making an annual gift to the Ball State University Foundation.
Emerging Professional Nurse Alumni Award
Ball State University Nursing Alumni who graduated within the last 20 years and who have made notable accomplishments in their careers through service, community involvement, or education are eligible. They should be active members of the Ball State University Alumni Association by making an annual gift to the Ball State University Foundation.
