Residence Hall Lobby and Lounge Usage - Residence Hall Policy

Residence hall lobbies, lounges, and common areas including those that are shared with Ball State University Dining are reserved for residence hall students' use only. University organizations may not reserve or meet in any residence hall lobby, lounge, or common area, nor may a resident of a residence hall reserve or meet in their hall lobby or lounge for the specific purpose that supports a university organization. All lobby, lounge and/or common area programs or meetings must be sponsored by Housing and Residence Life staff (Resident Assistants, Multicultural Advisors, and Academic Peer Mentor) or hall council sponsored activities that are supervised and operated by Housing and Residence Life employees or hall council members. All lobby, lounge or common area reservations must be requested and approved by the residence hall director.
