Understand the mechanisms of the world's physical and human environments and the links between them.
If you're interested in one of our bachelor's degrees, you'll need to apply through our Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Students interested in our graduate programs will need to be admitted by both the Ball State University Graduate School and the program itself. Also, consider one of our graduate assistantships as a way to gain meaningful experience while helping cover the costs of your education.
Our programs open an array of professional opportunities that are well-compensated and can take you around the world: cartographers, meteorologists, park rangers, and travel agents, just to name a few.
Become a forecaster with our Cardinal Weather Service, see a tornado up close with our Storm Chasing Team, conduct your own research, or get out of the classroom and into the field to study. As one of our students, you'll have many opportunities to better understand your program by applying it to real-world settings.
Our programs' graduates are around the world, making a difference in their professions and communities. Stay connected with us to see all the great things they're accomplishing and to continue being a part of our department!
