Again, note that while you will probably not write in summary point style like this, you will probably want to consider using a ‘list’ approach in your writing so that the key points associated with each topic or heading you address is quickly and clearly identified.

This should give you some idea as to the level of writing they are looking for, and how the information you provide will be used. Take particular note of the number checklists and interactive sections they have in this booklet as this appears to be something WELCOA likes to have in its documents. When you think about your article outlines, and in particular the kinds of practical ‘how to’ information you are going to include in your article, see if you can include it in the form of a survey, questionnaire, quiz, checklist, etc. as this kind of writing allows the reader to interact with the information and perhaps acts as a catalyst for them to action.
