Environmental wellness is the active process of defining your relationship with the environment, ranging from your immediate surroundings to the world around you. Actions to improve your environment can be as complex as starting a recycling program in your area or as simple as installing smoke detectors in your home.

Wondering what to do with your old cell phone, digital camera, or other electronic devices? Take them to one of the locations of the Muncie Mission. This website supports environmental wellness by giving us resources in our own town of Muncie, Indiana.

The Cardinal Greenway, formerly a section of the CSX railway line,
is the longest rails-to-trails project in Indiana. The White River Greenway follows the White River as it winds through Muncie and connects with the Cardinal Greenway at McCulloch Park. Enjoy the natural environment of Muncie while walking, biking or rollerblading on this trail system.

Keeping a workplace safe has many benefits: reducing liability, complying with state, local and national codes and most importantly, protecting a company’s most valuable assets...its employees. The National Red Cross features a program entitled: Together We Prepare—Workplaces. This program provides lifesaving training, information and products that employees can use anywhere.

Choose & Reuse Center

The use and re-use center resource is available for use by teachers or authorized purchasers from an area church or other non-profit organization. This local resource provides people with useful items you need in your daily operation.

Ergonomics is the study of how a workplace and the equipment used there can best be designed for comfort, safety, efficiency, and productivity. This website will provide simple principles and practices that you can follow to create a safe and comfortable computer workstation.
