Welcome to the World Tour 3 / Polyark 17 website, which documents the travels of 33 Ball State architecture and landscape architecture students (3rd year - graduate level) and 2 faculty members to 23 countries and over 50 cities around the globe.
In this web site, you will have opportunities to review course work in progress while the group is en-route. As adequate en-route Internet connections are available, daily and/or weekly additional uploads of student course work examples in the categories represented on the link-buttons, below, will appear. During the tour period from early-January until mid-April of 2007, tour participants will be identified only by their initials. Family, friends, and fellow CAP students and faculty will readily recognize the participants by their initials.
When the tour is completed, additional information will be provided, such as the complete detailed itinerary, final colloquium essays and final design project images. This web site has been ‘simply’ designed and constructed to insure maximum accessibility to family, friends, fellow students, and all visitors who might be accessing this web site from older and slower hardware/software resources.
UPDATE:
The WT3/P17 team returned home on April 15, 2007. This website now serves as an archive for our trip experiences, coursework, and reflections.
