Suzhou, China

The city of Suzhou was the third city on the Chinese itinerary. The garden city, Suzhou, is located about an hour outside of the city of Shanghai. The city provided the opportunity to see the typically Chinese sights, that were becoming more and more familiar with the gardens, temples, and green spaces. However this city also opened the door to the more unseen portions of the city. Here along with my father who had joined us for this portion of the journey, we walked through countless areas of urban living, back neighborhoods, shared communities water wells, and narrow streets gave us a feeling of daily life in China. We did not photographed these areas as it seemed to be inappropriate. However, the daily life style of Suzhou was extremely different than what either one of us expected. Again please explore these areas that seem appropriate to photgraph..

A look at a Chinese garden this one is called the Garden of Humanity. The same chinese garden, but was hidden from the main area. I liked the planting design in this area. A great detail in the different pathways.
These entrances way are used throughout every Chinese garden. A look at a bridge crossing over to one of the islands in the garden. Look at this tourist!!! He must like tools. Is my Dad eating French fries from McDonalds?? Does my sister know!!!
