What is "heart healthy" eating? Who should follow a "heart healthy" diet?  Come to this session and learn how to follow a "heart healthy" diet without having to eliminate those tasty foods as well.

Food and the Hot Flash Frenzy - Wednesday, March 3  12:00 - 12:30

Did you know that certain foods and drinks consumed in your diet may increase the chance of having a hot flash?  Learn about several foods and drinks associated with this occurrence of hot flashes, how these foods can cause hot flashes, and what food products to avoid in the future.

Mindful Eating - Wednesday, April 7  12:00 - 12:30 

Do you find yourself rushing through a meal or snack, just of find you overdid it?  Do you eat in response to boredom or stress, instead of when you are really hungry?  This session will help you recognize your body's true feelings of hunger, satiety, and appetite.  In turn, this will improve weight control, overall health, and most importantly allow you to enjoy and savor every bite.
