What is QuickClinic?
With convenience at its core, QuickClinic provides medical care for common illnesses and minor injuries on weekdays to Ball State employees, spouses, their dependents older than 2 and retirees. QuickClinic will treat problems like:
- sore throat
- pinkeye
- ear infections
- minor skin rashes insect bites
- ear
- allergies
- sinus infections
- swimmers ear
In addition health professionals are available to draw blood for laboratory services and assist you with questions you may have regarding a chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma or high cholesterol.
Staff
Ball State Employee QuickClinic is staffed by certified family nurse practitioners with training and experience in family medicine. These practitioners can diagnose and treat most common illnesses and prescribe any required medications.
Affordable care
No coinsurance or deductible will be required for employees, their families or retirees under 65 who use the clinic and have the Ball State low deductible or high deductible wellness option PPO as their primary health plan. All employees, spouses, dependents who are not covered under these plans are welcome but must pay in full at time of service. Medicare covered retirees must also pay in full at time of service. Receipts will be provided for employees to submit to carriers outside of the Ball State plans.
QuickClinic is quick and convenient
Those seeking care can save time away from work, since the clinic is right on the Ball State campus. Prescriptions can even be filled at the on-site pharmacy.
