2012-13 WIPB-TV Program Initiative
Download the 2012-13 Call for Proposals (.pdf). The deadline to submit proposals is August 31, 2012.
WIPB-TV, the PBS affiliate licensed to Ball State University, is offering funding of up to $10,000 to student teams to support the creation of original local programming. To apply, project producers will submit, in writing (500 words or less), how their team will collaborate with other Ball State students to develop their project, from concept to completion.
Through the initiative, WIPB will utilize the student-based team to explore new ways to create local programming that will enhance and increase awareness of WIPB in central Indiana through the use of broadcast and emerging technologies.
The primary objective is to expand the marketing, promotion, and financial opportunities of WIPB and Ball State University in central Indiana, adding focus into the areas of Hamilton and Marion counties, while continuing to maintain a strong presence within the central Indiana and western Ohio counties.
