Serving our Community
PRAYER
IN AMERICA
A recent legal challenge over prayer in the Indiana legislature and a controversy witnessed on the steps of Muncie City Hall provide a strong impetus for WIPB-TV and its partners to pursue opportunities to engage east central Indiana in interfaith dialogues.
WIPB
WAR OUTREACH
Veterans: tell us your stories. If you are a veteran of the second World War, or a family member of a veteran, we'd like to record your stories as part of our outreach initiative. The collection of stories will be stored at Minnetrista in Muncie, and copies will be forwarded to the Veterans History Project at The Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. To submit your story online, click here, or email lgeorgi@bsu.edu.
ECHOES
OF WAR: STORIES FROM THE BIG RED ONE
In conjunction with the PBS series THE WAR, WIPB-TV created an outreach initiative using a unique technological event that brought to life the struggles and humanity of war as told by the veterans who witnessed them firsthand. This Digital Media Experience is an interactive educational program and companion website that focuses on the famed 1st Infantry Division of the United States Army, also known as the Big Red One during WWII.
PBS Program Club
WIPB and Minnetrista host an ongoing PBS Program Club that allows a group of people to meet once a month to view the selected program and then take part in a facilitated discussion about the program.

Meetings held on the third Wednesday of the month at Minnetrista from 2:00-4:00pm. Free and open to the public. Contact Lori Georgi for more information lgeorgi@bsu.edu or 765-285-2982.
