Talking About Art hosted by the David Owsley Museum of Art

Details: Begins at 12pm in the Brown Study Room at the David Owsley Museum of Art. Staff will lead discussions using an image of a work of art. This is an open-ended yet highly structured discussion of visual art, significantly increasing students' critical thinking, language, and literacy skills along the way. Free. Bring your lunch. Cookies and drinks will be provided.
Docent's Choice Tour: Impressionism and Its Impact

Spirit of the South Band and Guard Summer Kick Off and Cook Out

Details: Begins at 5:30pm. $5.00 ($3.00 for 12 and under) admission includes a hamburger or two hotdogs, french fries and your choice of coffee or lemonade. Additional soda, hamburgers, hotdogs and fries will be available for purchase. Wilson Middle School band will perform during dinner. Following dinner the Spirit of South Band and Guard will perform.
