Project Care "Adopt A Soldier"

Date: Ongoing
Details: The Hoosier Heartland Chapter of the American Red Cross is seeking community support with a project for soldiers serving abroad. "Project Care" is an effort to link citizens of East Central Indiana and soldiers serving in Iraq. Persons participating are asked to commit to communicating at least twice a month with their Project Care adopted solider. Through this program we have already discovered that soldiers greatly appreciate receiving email, mail and care packages in the field as it provides a point of connection to home. For more information or if you, your business, church or organization are interested in being a part of this heartfelt project to connect with soldiers in Iraq, please contact Services to Armed Forces Director, Julie Hankins or Marvilla Noles by calling the Hoosier Heartland Chapter of the American Red Cross at (765) 284-3361 or (800) 480-4403.
