Originally from West Virginia, Cathy earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences from West Virginia University. She later provided computer programming support for health research contracts with the National Cancer Institute before starting a family. After spending several years as a stay-at-home mom, she is now pursuing a Master's Degree in Applied Gerontology and serving as a Graduate Assistant at the Community Center for Vital Aging (CCVA). When not in class or at the CCVA, she is busy keeping up with her three children. If she had any spare time, she would love to spend it traveling, reading, and taking art classes.
