LWRT'S Fall Workshop was a Success!

On November 7th, the LWRT hosted their Evaluating and Implementing School Wellness Policies Workshop.  A total of 16 Wellness Council Members from six of our seven Well-AWARE in Delaware County Schools were in attendance.  Each member of the LWRT participated in the workshop.  It was truly a team success!  After the workshop, the LWRT worked with each school to help write their Ball Brother's Foundation Grant.  Overall, the workshop was a great success.  The evaluations showed a great range of strengths, and a few areas of improvement that the LWRT will be studying.  Be on the look out for future workshops for the Well-AWARE in Delaware County Schools!

Members of the Learning Well Resources Team Attend Indiana AHEC Meeting!

Cathy Whaley and David Bustamante visited the Indiana Area Health Education Center (AHEC) at Indiana Purdue University Fort Wayne.  The purpose of this meeting was to present the winning Rural Health Conference Poster Presentations.  There were several AHEC members in attendance that actively asked questions.  This meeting is just one example how the Learning Well Resources Team is expanding their resources and creating new partnerships for the future.  The poster presentations below!  Please feel free to download them and display them in your schools!
