AT 495 - Medical Aspects of Sport and Physical Activity.
Develops the knowledge and skills athletic trainers must possess to recognize, treat, and refer the general medical conditions and disabilities of those engaged in physical activity. Laboratory experiences emphasize the systematic and comprehensive assessment of a patient for identifying common predispositions to injury or illness, disease, and non- musculoskeletal injury. Prerequisite: AT 370, 371, 372, 373; permission of the instructor. Open only to athletic training and nursing majors.Applied Science & Tech.
