Instructions for the Lab
| First, print out the following pages: Worksheet(s), Procedures & Questions. | |
| For labs which do not require on-line processing (such as LAB #1), work off-line to save computer time. | |
| For labs which does require on-line processing, read the procedures thoroughly beforehand to save processing time. | |
| Fill out the worksheet(s) completely and attach it to your lab report. | |
| Bring a calculator with you all the time. | |
| Do not copy data from others. The most important thing in the labs is your experience. Do it by yourself. Besides, the tests will include questions based on the labs. | |
| Unless stated specifically, use 2 decimal places for the numbers. | |
| Using your calculator, make sure that your calculator is set to the proper unit (either degree or radian). Read the manual of your calculator thoroughly. Mistakes in using your calculator will not be excused. |

Instructions for Report Writing
| Always type your lab report! Handwritten reports will not be accepted. | |
| The discussion doesn't have to be lengthy. Hit the main points. Try to organize your ideas well and present them neatly. | |
| Additional bonus points will be awarded to those very well-written lab reports. | |
| Avoid yes/no or increase/decrease-type short answers. Always try to explain, utilizing the data you got from the lab. | |
| Whenever possible, consult the textbook. In many cases, your textbook has the complete answers. | |
| Use proper numbers and units all the time. Unless stated specifically, use 2 decimal places for the numbers. | |
| Attach the completed Worksheet page to the report. Staple them. | |
| Do not copy others', especially the wrong ones. Do it by yourself. | |
| Some points will be deducted for the reports turned in late. It is worth turning in every lab report even though it is late. | |
| The deadline for each lab report will be posted. | |
