During our normal operating hours, Writing Center tutors are stationed beside the computer and phone to answer questions and offer advice to students. If you have a few short questions or need some quick advice on a writing project, you can call or e-mail us. We ask that you don't attempt to send a whole paper to a tutor. If you want to talk to a tutor about an entire draft of a paper, you should set up an appointment for a face-to-face conference.

If you send an e-mail during our business hours, you will receive a response shortly after you send your message. Messages sent on the weekend are answered on Monday morning, and messages sent in the evening after we are closed will be answered promptly the next morning.
