Our approach is best summarized in the project narrative of our submittal in the 2004 UIA 'Precarious Habitat' competition: we seek local roots, travel extensively, import ideas, participate with others, and see potential in scavenged and waste materials, all as means to challenge society's fascination with capitalism and consumerism.
