INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 1/2 cup flour
PROCEDURE:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg
and extracts. Stir in flour; mix well. Chill for several hours.
On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness; cut with
a heart shaped cookie cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheets and
bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Ice
and decorate.
