This
unit plan has been designed for the use of educators
as a resource and guide for
teaching the exploration of different careers to 7th graders. The
website is based on the family and consumer sciences curriculmn.
It contains suggested resources such as text, reading materials, and websites.
Please feel free to alter the unit plan based on you and your students
personal needs. It may also be used with the previous intergrated
unit on National Parks. Please feel free
to contact me by email with any sugestions, alternate activities, or new
reading materials. All lessons are based on a 50 minute, 7 period
day block. The unit plan also assumes that students are advanced
in technology and have access to a computer lab on a daily basis.
All content standards are from the Indiana
Department of Education. The format for each day's schedule focuses
on the BDA teaching strategy. Click on the table
