Tier
of Lesson:
Process
-
Interest: I will allow the students
to choose a day in advance
which tier they would like to participate in.
Tiers:
I will lecture from the notes I have attached to the lesson plan.
The lecture will consist of a power point presentation.
In addition to the notes there will be classroom discussion.
The students can work in groups of two for the first part.
Students may work alone if they prefer.

Tier III : Silent Reading
Each tier will receive a copy of my notes the following class period.
This will help them prepare for future quizzes or test.
Assessments:
i. There will be a fourteen question quiz for them to either complete at
the
end of class or take home. (quiz is attached to lesson plan)
ii. Will only be worth participation points.
i. Completion of the worksheet (worksheet is attached to lesson plan)
ii. Will only be worth participation points.
i. Take notes of the chapters while reading them.
ii. Will only be worth participation points.
