The Office of Student Life believes in the importance of developing leadership skills. The programs below provide students with opportunities for leadership development.
Excellence in Leadership (EIL) - This four-phase program for students is designed to meet the growing need for prepared future leaders. The program's focus includes developing personal leadership attributes, analyzing problems, implementing solutions and exploring individual leadership styles. Students can take the program as a class or as an extracurricular activity.
Leadership Studies Minor - Learn more about obtaining an academic minor in Leadership Studies!
Omicron Delta Kappa - This is a nationally recognized leadership honorary at Ball State University.
Student Leadership Development Board (SLDB) - The main focus of SLDB is to conduct consultant services in which members research and present information on any topic for campus organizations.
