Key Competitors
Kodak's biggest competitor is Fuji.  Fuji makes cameras, digital imaging products, and photographic paper.  Fuji also makes floppy disks, medical imaging products, office automation systems, and industrial films and chemicals.  Although the company is Japan's #1 photographic film producer, more than half of Fuji's sales are made outside Japan.
Kodak also competes with Japan's Canon.  Canon currently makes cameras, printers, copiers, scanners, camcorders, broadcasting equipment and medical equipment which has to compete with America's Eastman Kodak.  Although the race is tough, the Americas account for one-third of the company's sales.
Kodak also fights a battle with Japan's based Sony.  Sony puts batteries and cameras out into the market which sit on the same shelves as Kodak's.  In the future, look for all three of these competitors to pick a fight with Kodak in the race for sales, quality, and advanced technology.
