| Kodak's
Financial Condition...
From 1999 to 2000, worldwide sales declined less than 1%. Lower prices, increased sales of margin products, such as onetime use cameras and consumer digital cameras have contributed to the decline. The biggest hit was in Kodak's Professional segment which experienced the most significant declines. On the other hand, Kodak's Health Imaging, Entertainment Imaging, Digital and Applied Imaging and Commercial and Government Systems experienced growth in the year 2000. Like most companies, Kodak is on its way to recovering from a drop that occurred in September of 2001. Kodak continues to rise above the events of 2001, get back to business, and begin to recover. |
