Check out
the current conference sponsors!
Dear Technology Vendor,
Ball State University will be hosting
the 2002 Ohio Higher Education Computing Conference (OHECC)
on April 8-10, 2002. As indicated in the attached OHECC
Fact Sheet, past conferences were attended by an average
of more than 50 Directors/Managers from 24 of the premier
institutions of higher education in and around Ohio for a
total attendance exceeding 250. All Indiana institutions
will be encouraged to participate this year, so attendance
is expected to increase. With the support of our vendors,
Ball State is expecting that this spring’s conference
will be one of the most memorable and productive OHECC
conferences in recent history.
The interest we’ve seen already from
companies such as yours to help support the conference has
been truly exceptional. We are currently seeking
sponsorship for each of the five meals, Monday night’s
entertainment, and the keynote speaker. There are also
opportunities for your organization to participate in and
support the conference including:
| Sponsoring
keynote speaker, dinners, luncheons, receptions,
breaks, and evening entertainment |
| Setting
up a booth or table in the vendor display area |
| Placing
an advertisement in the conference agenda booklet |
| Donating
door prizes for Wednesday’s closing luncheon |
| Providing
the conference portfolio (with company logo) |
Each of the above opportunities is
detailed in an attachment to
this letter. More information about the conference can
be found on the conference web site at www.bsu.edu/web/ohecc.
Please note, the web site is a work in progress. If you
have any other questions, please feel free to call
(765.285.1806) or email
me.
Sincerely,
Dr. Dennis Kramer
Director, University Computing Services
