The Downtown mall opened in September 1995. It houses nearly 100 specialty stores, including several upscale retailers and such favorites as FAO Schwarz, Warner Brothers and Godiva Chocolatier. Anchor stores Nordstrom and Parisian are integrated with other historic downtown buildings. A third-floor food court encompasses nearly a dozen restaurants, and the fouth floor is an entertainment comlex that houses three clubs and a nine-screen United Artists theater. After 11 p.m., entrance to the fourth level is restricted to individuals age 18 and older. Underground parking garages are attached to the mall to avoid the hassle of Downtown parking.
