Ball State University is proud
to host the first "annual" OHECC conference on
Monday, April 8 through Wednesday, April 10, 2002. The
conference will be held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in
Indianapolis, Indiana. This conference is open to all
employees of colleges and universities in the greater
Indiana and Ohio area who are involved in managing,
supporting and using information technologies in academia.
The theme for the conference is
"Digital Delivery:
Convergence or Chaos?" This theme highlights the rapidly changing higher
education environment and the impact of the digital
delivery of information in all our lives.
During the three-day conference, OHECC will feature
approximately forty breakout sessions on such topics as
distance learning, digital portfolios, video streaming and
conferencing, bandwidth shaping, security, business
processes, and the impact of new technologies on the
educational process.
Emphasis will be on the impact the digital delivery
of voice, video, and data.
