Ball State's NTSA would like to recognize the new Omicron-Psi Honor Society members:  Terri Best, Stephanie Miller, Charles Cotton and Jennifer Longgood.  They will receive their cords, pens and certificates in April.  The Omicron-Psi Honor Society members are recognized for their achievements, a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and involvement in at least three community and/or campus activities, demonstrating leadership, persistence and future promise.

Scholarship Listing

The following is a listing of scholarships for which only Golden Key members can apply.  Additional application requirements are listed for each scholarship.  Attach these items to your Summary Page and Final Checklist which must be printed out from the on-line application process. 

 

Golden Key begins its scholarship programs in September of each year.  Below is a listing of the 16 scholarship programs for which only Golden Key member can apply.  As soon as you have received a Golden Key Membership Number, you can apply for as many scholarships as you would like.  Be certain to note the postmark deadline for each scholarship.

                                                                                                                                                       

The constitution of Golden Key International Honour Society strictly prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, handicap, age, sexual orientation or marital status.  Golden Key reserves the right to alter any scholarship details as needed.
 

Golden Key Advisor Research Travel Grants
Providing funding to one Golden Key advisor to attend a professional development or research related conference.
Art International
Art International provides US$1,000 scholarships to members talented in eight categories of visual arts.
 
Business Achievement Awards
A business plan competition recognizing excellence in the study of business.

Earth Ethics Award
One $1,000 scholarship awarded to a student who exhibits exemplary dedication to environmental awareness and responsibility.
Education Achievement Awards
A case study competition rewarding excellence in the study of education at all levels.
Engineering Achievement Awards
The engineering achievement awards recognize excellence in the study of engineering. A different specialty will be recognized each year.
GEICO Adult Scholar Awards
Ten US$1,000 awards recognize outstanding members over the age of 25 who achieve academic success while balancing multiple other commitments such as family and/or career.
Information Systems Achievement Awards
A case study competition rewarding excellence in the study of computer science.
Literary Achievement Awards
These US$1,000 awards recognize the literary talents of Golden Key members in four categories - fiction, non-fiction, poetry and news writing.
Performing Arts Showcase
Six US$1,000 scholarships recognize members gifted in dance, drama, instrumental performance, filmmaking, musical composition and vocal performance.
Golden Key Research and Travel Grants
Ten US$500 travel grants allow members to present their research at professional conferences or student research symposia.
Golden Key Scholar Award
Each year, Golden Key selects 12 outstanding members to receive a Golden Key Scholar Award of US$10,000, which supports graduate study at accredited universities around the world.
Golden Key Service Award
This program recognizes one outstanding Golden Key member for outstanding service to his/her community.
Speech and Debate Awards
These awards are open to any member in any discipline and recognize talented Golden Key members for their oratory skills.
International Student Leader Award
This US$1,000 award recognizes one outstanding member for dedication to Golden Key as well as for campus leadership, community service and academic achievement.
Student Scholastic Showcase
Four US$1,000 scholarships recognize members for outstanding undergraduate research in any discipline.
Golden Key Study Abroad Scholarships
Ten US$2,000 scholarships assist members interested in studying abroad.
Undergraduate Scholarships
Two scholarships are awarded at each university based on academic achievement, campus leadership and community service.
