Our program provides interactive learning
and play experiences which contribute to cognitive, linguistic, social,
emotional, and physical development of young children. "Learning by
Doing" is the philosophy for this educational program. The program is
accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and
serves as a Ball State Professional Development School.
The Huffer
Memorial Children’s Center offers developmentally appropriate,
educational care for children, assisting them in developing to their fullest
potential. Subsidized care is
available to allow parents the time they need to attend school and work, and
thereby contribute towards the benefit of the family.
The Child
Care Resource and Referral service provides referrals for parents
searching for high quality childcare providers throughout Delaware and Henry
Counties as well as support services, assistance, and educational opportunities for reputable providers. We help parents understand what they should consider in
finding a quality provider and what providers should do to maintain high
standards in care.
Additionally, our Resources
Van service delivers an extensive library and learning resources to over 70
member sites including licensed home providers, ministries, and care centers.
