Notable Facts:  Perso gets two straight successful x-plays, then two straight stops on x-plays…Only meeting in regular season won by Cardinals (MIKI) over the Patriots (Perso) by a count of 27-3.  Perso submits formal complaint before Tecmo board that he was cheated by the computer.  MIKI dominates the full 20 min.  Zolak sets record with 21 int…Both teams ousted in Divisonal playoff…MIKI loses 42-28, Perso 17-9.  Disappointing.

 

Season 4 (Spring 2003):

Notable Facts: First half trifecta by Perso on first game…Perso sets single game passing record with 734 yards (Dan Marino) and 11 catches…MIKI sets single game receiving record with 341 yards by Drew Hill…Deion Sanders goes back to back for kickoff return touchdowns…Players went on strike, so season is lost.

TECMO SUPER BOWL Final Edition LORE

Season 1:  SUPER BOWL- Eagles (Nate) defeated Chargers (Computer) 55-12 or so he thinks.

 

Offense- Bears-1st (Miki)

               Eagles-2nd (Nate)

 

Defense- Bears-1st (Miki)

               Eagles-2nd (Nate)

 

Notable Facts:  Nate sets record for most times saying “You mother fucker”.  Miki sets record for most touchdowns (78) and most yards in a game by M. Savic (753).  Steve Walsh has record for most yards in one game (859).  Miki sets record for most points in a game (126).  Nate beats Miki in Week 17 handedly.  They meet each other in NFC Championship, where Nate beats Miki 55-49 in overtime.

Season 2: Strike season-ended after week 6

 

Notable Facts:  M. Savic (Bears) was absolutely amazing.  Nate puts up first-ever “quintfecta”.

 

Season 3: SUPER BOWL-Rams (Miki) defeated Oilers (Nate) 35-21.

 

Offense- Oilers-1st (Nate)

               Rams-2nd (Miki)

 

Defense- Oilers- 1st (Nate)

               Rams- 2nd (Miki)

 

Notable Facts: Nate is still dropping “You mother fucker.”  M. Savic (Rams) sets a record with 9 returns for touchdowns.  Nate breaks my cardboard box.

 

Season 4: SUPER BOWL-Oilers (Nate) defeated Rams (Miki) 41-35 in OT.

 

Offense- Oilers-1st (Nate)

               Rams-2nd (Miki)

               Redskins-16th (Casey)

 

Defense- Oilers-1st (Nate)

               Redskins-2nd (Casey)

               Rams-3rd (Miki)

 

Notable Facts: N. Kilander leads all passers with 10,093 yards and 140 TDs.  Casey got eliminated in the playoffs in the second round.  Oilers (Nate) went 19-0 this season.  Nate rotates the cardboard box.

 

Season 5: Again another Strike season (let’s hope they are happy this time)

 

Notable Facts:  N. Kilander sets record for most yards passing in a game with 997.

Also is on pace to throw for roughly 15,000 yards and 200 TDS after 2 consecutive games of 112.
