SUBMISSIONS

The Midtown Literary Review accepts original and unpublished poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction written by graduate students (anyone currently in graduate school or who has graduated within the last two years).

Electronic submission only: mlr@bsu.edu


Submissions will be read, on a continuing basis, beginning November 1, 2003, through May 2004.


Fiction, creative nonfiction limit for publication is 5,000 words.

Please limit submissions of poetry to three at a time.

A brief bio page will be published containing all contributing writers' information and links will be provided to the authors' websites (if desired). Bio information will be requested if work is accepted. Do not send bio information with submissions.

Please include the genre and title of work on subject line of email, and within the email the author's name, address, and phone number.

All accepted submissions will be posted, soon after acceptance, for at least three months, and then archived.

All works must be submitted by email in the form of a Microsoft Word compatible attachment (.doc) to mlr@bsu.edu.

Simultaneous submissions are acceptable, but please notify us if work is accepted elsewhere.
