2005 Freshman Party

On Wednesday, October 13 2005, the Ball State Department of Mathematical Sciences held its annual Freshman Party at Lyndenbrook Falls Mini Golf and Muncie Custard.  This event, which is designed to help our new majors meet other new majors, upper class students, and faculty in the department, was well received by all participants!

In addition to enjoying an evening of mini golf and custard, this event provided our new students students with a chance to learn more about the Department of Mathematical Sciences, its six undergraduate majors (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Mathematics, Applied Mathematics/Physics, and Mathematics Teaching), and opportunities for students, including our Actuarial Science Club, Math Club, and Ball State Council of Teachers of Mathematics (BSCTM)
