Each year, during the month of March, the department of Mathematical Sciences holds an event that starts with a free luncheon for all our majors, minors, and graduate students. Following the luncheon, which is sponsored by the faculty of the department, various door prizes are given to students. The purpose of the luncheon and the activities is to provide an opportunity for an informal and friendly interaction and conversation between our students and the faculty. The department has been hosting such an event annually since 1995.
