SCHEDULING A CALCULUS PRESENTATION
Mathematics teaching majors may give a calculus presentation during the
term in which they are enrolled in Maths 166 or after completing Maths 166
(Calculus II or its equivalent). Successful completion of a calculus
presentation is a requirement for mathematics teaching majors in order to
pass through Decision Point 2.
Specific dates and times when a calculus presentation can be scheduled
are available here or
in the Department of Mathematical Sciences Office (RB 465).
Students must complete a registration form indicating the proposed topic
of the presentation and their first and second choices of dates/times when
they wish to give their presentation. This form is available here or in the Department of Mathematical
Sciences Office.
Deadlines for submission of registration forms are October 7 for fall term presentations and February 15 for spring term presentations. The
completed forms should be returned to the Department of Mathematical Sciences
Office (RB 465).
