The items that I placed on my technology wish list are items that many schools may not have.  With the assumption that most schools have updated computer labs and software, I chose items that could be considered luxury items.  For example, the digital cameras and digital video recorders will benefit the yearbook staff as well as anyone who has a website and would want to post pictures of class projects or activities on the web.  These items can also benefit any team/club or coach who wishes to document contests or activities.  I prefer to have a digital projector in my room at all times to project journal assignments, bell work, pictures, graphs, facts, or PowerPoint shows.   The wireless laptop computers are important because they are mobile.  If I am planning on spending the day in the library I can remain connected with the wireless laptop.  Scanners are always convenient for converting documents into digital files but with a scanner/copier/printer combination a user can perform multiple tasks at once.  Finally, the smart board can be used as a powerful computer projection tool when teaching, collaborating, or group meetings.
