Layout of the Lesson:

Student will work in small groups and will be assigned a cause of the Civil War to research

bullet

Students will research and explain in detail their given cause

bullet

Students will utilize resources provided by the teacher and create a PowerPoint presentation over their given cause. 

bullet

Teacher will use student PowerPoint presentations as a platform for discussion of the causes of the Civil War.

bulletTeacher will use group PowerPoint presentations to lead a discussion
bulletClass will then compare and contrast the causes and decide which causes contributed most
