is here to stay because it is so convenient and easy to use. Instant
messaginghas a wide open future with wireless, voice, and video among the
many possible applications that could take off. Ultimately, instant
messaging's major application within corporations may not involve communications
among ccolleaguesbut on-the-fly text messages exchanged among end users
and enterprise applications such as inventory control and customer relations
management systems. The best uses of Instant messaging have not yet
been thought of and more improvements and enhancements will continue to be
made.
