Internet Instant Messaging is a technology that uses the Internet to connect people to chat one on one. Instant messaging is basically like a text phone conversation! You can spend hours online chatting without wasting any cell phone minutes! The Internet has definitely changed the way we all communicate. E-mail has definitely replaced traditional letters (I mean SERIOUSLY, no one writes letters anymore) and sometimes even telephone calls.
