Kinder Korner: This site has a lot of information about topical units such as Black History Month.  There are many unit ideas and products for purchase. Reading Planet: This is a wonderful interactive site for you.  Included are the top five books and a poll you can take.  There are also highlighted books. Reading Fairy: There are many aides for parents and caregivers.  There are book lists for children and adults, as well as literacy links.
abcteach: Here is a site that has a plethora of ideas, activities, and units for all subject areas including reading and writing. Welcome to Seussville: This site has a variety of activities and games centered around Dr. Seuss's books and characters.  Have fun touring this site.  Education Place Reading Scene: Click on "For Parents" to have many activities you can do at home with books your child reads. There are several activities and some on-line quizzes to go with the featured books.
Bibliotherapy Bookshelf: This is a great site for finding book titles that are appropriate for children as they face various crises in their lives. Book Adventure: After reading a book, take a test and see how much you remember about the story.  Education World: This site has numerous book lists for summer reading for your child.  Click on "Parent Issues" for information to help your child in school.
Four Blocks: Pat Cunningham's site has lots of information about all of the aspects of Four Blocks including guided reading, self-selected reading, writing, and working with words.  Scholastic: This site has great things for kids to do. You can read new books, learn a new word for the week, meet your favorite book characters, and take a poll. Reading Matters: This site has great information and tips on reading to children of different ages from infants on up.
Teachers.Net: This site has a variety of Word Wall lessons and On the Back activities for teachers to use in their classroom. Just for Kids Who Love Books: You can read book reviews written by children.  Learn about your favorite books and authors.  You can locate information by book title or author. Literary Award Winners: This site lists eleven different books lists of literary award winners.  You can help your child find quality literature by using this site.
Readers Theatre: This site tells you everything you wanted to know about Readers Theatre.  There are also numerous scripts you can print.
