Here are some books that relate to clouds and weather.
Fiction Books:
Abbot, Tony.  City in the Clouds.  New York:  Little Apple, 1999.

When Neal turns into a giant bug, Eric and Julie rush him back to Droon. Princess Keeah thinks there is a cure in the fantastical City in the Clouds. Of course they only have one day before the city disappears for an entire year!

Barrett, Judi Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.  New York : Atheneum, 1978.

Life is delicious in the town of Chewandswallow where it rains soup and juice, snows mashed potatoes, and blows storms of hamburgers--until the weather takes a turn for the worse.

Wiesnor, David.  Sector 7.  New York:  Houghton Mifflin Co, 1999.

A wondrous, wordless picture book a class visiting the Empire State Building finds complete cloud cover and no visibility. One boy makes friends with a cloud (identifiable in the mists by the red mittens, hat, and scarf and swipes from the boy), and goes AWOL on a wonderful adventure. The cloud whisks him away to the "Sector 7" floating cloud factory, a bizarre sky station that looks like a Victorian design for a submarine.

Bendick, Jeanne.  How to make a Cloud.  New York: Parent’s Magazine Press, 1971. 

Explains the formation of different kinds of clouds, what they are called, what they indicate about changing weather, and how they "make" rain, snow, sleet, hail, or fog.

Depola, Tomie. The Cloud Book: words and pictures New York : Holiday House, 1975.

 Introduces the ten most common types of clouds, the myths that have been inspired by their shapes, and what they can tell about coming weather changes.

Vullo, Vera.  Did you ever wonder about things you see in the sky? New York : Benchmark Books, 2000.

Describes the characteristics of the various things we see in the sky such as the sun, moon, and stars, and such weather phenomena as wind, clouds, storms, rain, and rainbows.
