Ballast is a site-specific video installation which consists of a vertical column suspended over a reflecting platform.  The platform reflected an image from a monitor mounted in the interior of the column which also contained the DVD player, speakers and other electronics.   The sound was monitored from within the column. This installation was designed for the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
