Description of the Minor Program in Electronic Art

(30 hours)

The minor in Electronic Art introduces students to principles and materials used in art, along with a studio area of emphasis in electronic art. Students selecting a minor in art must receive approval from the Department of Art. This minor is available to Art Majors only.

Students take the foundation core (ADS101, 102; AFA101, AFA202 including ART101 before enrolling in advanced level courses (200 level and above). Certain courses and sections may have prerequisites and/or major restrictions. The electronic art facilities at BSU offer numerous software packages. Specific software taught under the ART 201 and 301 headings may vary with industry developments. Please refer to the undergraduate catalogue.
