Member Services Coordinator
Gail
Malaby: Texan by birth, Cajun by schooling (LSU), Okie by marriage
and Hoosier by choice.
Gail and her family moved to Muncie in the summer of 2005 after
her husband accepted a faculty position in the Teachers College
at Ball State University. As a new member of the community, Gail
felt that a job with Indiana Public Radio was a perfect fit. After
successful endeavors in restaurant management and banking, she
was drawn to the position she now holds as Membership Services
Coordinator for Indiana Public Radio by her love of community service-oriented
careers. Engaging the community, spreading the good word and supporting
public broadcasting are all part of the appeal. She encourages
IPR’s members not only to take pride in their community and
in their station, but to take ownership! Public radio provides
an invaluable service to the community, and Gail is proud to be
a part of the cooperative spirit that helps make it happen.
