The TECU Program is hosted by Ball State
University (BSU) in conjunction with China’s
primer international education organization, the
China Education Association for International
Exchange (CEAIE).

Ball State
University occupies a niche between the
large research institution and the small liberal
arts college, blending the advantages of
large-scale opportunities and resources with a
small college concern for student academic
progress and welfare. Ranked as a research
intensive institution by the Carnegie
Foundation, BSU offers seven academic colleges
and a graduate school offering more than 140
undergraduate programs, 72 master’s programs,
and 15 doctoral programs. BSU has a long
history of promoting international education,
cross-cultural training, study abroad as well as
focusing on Asia as a geographical destination.

China
Education Association for International Exchange
(CEAIE) is China’s nationwide non-governmental
organization for conducting international
educational exchange. It was founded in 1981
with the approval of the State Council of the
People’s Republic of China and registered with
the United Nations as an international NGO in
1994. CEAIE has over 20 years of experience of
bringing international educational institutions
world-wide together with Chinese educational and
scientific research institutions, schools,
cultural exchange organizations as well as other
academic bodies.
