Characteristics

Habitat: disturbed areas, moist areas
Plant Height: 40 cm or more, erect stem
Flower Color: white tinged with green at edges
Flower: perfect; complete; 3 sepals; 3 petals; both tinged with green at edges 
Inflorescence: single flower at end of long pedicel, in terminal clusters
Fruit: berry
Leaves: linear; entire; basal
Bloom Time: March-April
Origins: non-native, escaped cultivation
Other: also known as large snowdrops; similar to Galanthus nivalis, except this species is much taller with larger flowers
